We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our booking and cancellation policy. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
General Booking Information:
All bookings are tentative until confirmed by Rolling Wave Recording via email or phone.
A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your booking, as specified at the time of booking. This deposit will be applied towards the total cost of your session.
Full payment for the booked service or rental is due 7 days prior to the scheduled date, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Accepted methods of payment include Credit Card, Zelle, PayPal, Venmo and Bank Transfer (banking fees to be paid by the client).
Cancellation and Postponement Policy:
The following cancellation and postponement policies apply to all booking types:
1. Recording, Mixing, Mastering, Audio for Advertising:
Cancellation more than 7 days prior to the scheduled date: You will receive a full refund of any payments made, excluding the non-refundable deposit (if applicable).
Cancellation between 3 and 7 days prior to the scheduled date: You will forfeit 50% of the total booking fee. Any remaining balance will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 3 days prior to the scheduled date or no-show: You will be responsible for 100% of the total booking fee.
Postponement (rescheduling) more than 7 days prior to the scheduled date: Subject to studio availability, you may reschedule your session once without penalty. Any subsequent rescheduling will be treated as a cancellation.
Postponement between 3 and 7 days prior to the scheduled date: Subject to studio availability, rescheduling may be permitted with a rescheduling fee equal to 25% of the original booking fee.
Postponement less than 3 days prior to the scheduled date: Postponement is generally not permitted. Any rescheduling will be treated as a cancellation with 100% of the booking fee due.
2. Gear Consultation/Setup:
Cancellation more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled date: You will receive a full refund of any payments made.
Cancellation less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled date or no-show: You will be responsible for 50% of the total consultation fee.
Postponement more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled date: Subject to availability, you may reschedule your consultation once without penalty.
Postponement less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled date: Postponement may be permitted with a rescheduling fee equal to 25% of the original consultation fee.
3. Studio Rental:
Cancellation more than 7 days prior to the scheduled date: You will receive a full refund of any payments made, excluding the non-refundable deposit (if applicable).
Cancellation between 3 and 7 days prior to the scheduled date: You will forfeit 50% of the total rental fee. Any remaining balance will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 3 days prior to the scheduled date or no-show: You will be responsible for 100% of the total rental fee.
Postponement (rescheduling) more than 7 days prior to the scheduled date: Subject to studio availability, you may reschedule your rental period once without penalty. Any subsequent rescheduling will be treated as a cancellation.

4. Practice Space Rental:
Cancellation more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled date: You will receive a full refund of any payments made.
Cancellation less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled date or no-show: You will be responsible for 50% of the total rental fee.
Postponement more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled date: Subject to availability, you may reschedule your practice session once without penalty.
Postponement less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled date: Postponement may be permitted with a rescheduling fee equal to 25% of the original rental fee.
Late Payment Policy:
If full payment is not received by the due date 7 days prior to the scheduled date, Rolling Wave Recording reserves the right to cancel your booking.
Rolling Wave Recording reserves the right to pursue any outstanding balances through appropriate legal channels.
Force Majeure:
Rolling Wave Recording shall not be held liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts 1 of God, natural disasters, government actions, 2 equipment failure beyond repair, or other unforeseen emergencies. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule your session or provide a refund of payments made (excluding the non-refundable deposit, if applicable).
Important Notes:
All cancellations and postponement requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@rollingwaverecording.com.
The date of cancellation or postponement is considered the date the written notification is received by Rolling Wave Recording.
Rolling Wave Recording reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis.
